Seahawks!

I know, I know: The Seahawks aren't known to be the best NFL team out there, but we enjoy cheering them on just the same. We hosted a get together with Taylor's family and Taylor's best friend Stender, for the Cardinals vs. Seahawks game.

I decided to make pulled pork sandwiches for our half time grub, but was really nervous since I hadn't made it before. The butcher store gave me a 10lb roast, which would have been wayyyy too much. So at midnight the night before, Taylor cut the meat in half and helped me get it in the slow cooker. Thankfully my mom gave me a sweet slow cooker for Christmas a few years ago: I love it! I started the meat at 12:30am Sunday, got up at 4 to ensure there was enough water left, and let it cook until 10am. Taylor and I stood in the kitchen for close to 45 minutes pulling it all apart. It really turned out great!! Everyone seemed to enjoy it!

After the Hawks score, following Dominique's tradition, we were taking shots. Taylor bought his parents coffee drinks to use as shooters, that way everyone could participate.

TOUCHDOWN! (yes, the only one the entire game)

Field Goal! (one of many)

Bill and Heidi couldn't wait to take their shots!
The Hawks only scored one touchdown, but at least we managed to kick some field goals to bring us to first place in the NFC west!!

Thanks to everyone for coming and celebrating the win with us!
