Here's the wall after the paneling came down

In the kitchen, I couldn't get ALL of the wall paper down, so we eventually learned that we could cover it first with oil based paint, sand over any rough pieces and then texture the wall. Once I painted the wall, we didn't do anything else....until now.
We did finish the painting of the living room, just not the finishing of "the wall".

That is looking good. We can't even say that we own a home. We have been looking but no luck yet. It will be a little bit too becuase the snow should melt before we look at property.
