Comedy

My friend Angel and I wanted to get together for a double date with our husbands- but some times double dates can be dudds. Let's face it. Depending on the activity and the personalities of the group, it can be awkward, uncomfortable and definitely not fun. So, Angel suggested going to comedy night at the Tyee in Tumwater. That way it wasn't like we couldn't talk like you were in a movie or  like bowling where you have to converse the majority of the time: comedy you can laugh, chat a bit and we were fortunate to enjoy some yummy food!
Our evening began at our place, where we all hung out for a pre-funk. Then we headed to the restaurant where we found our seats, ordered some yummy food and watched the show. We were told that typically the show ends by 9:30pm, but due to two headliners, the show lasted until 10:15pm, or that was when it was scheduled to end. To be honest, I wasn't keeping track of the time. Taylor's favorite was the MC who is actually performing as a headliner this upcoming weekend. He was so hilarious and SO good at improv- We could have listened to him all night! My favorite was Tony Daniel. He was second to last, but so freakin' funny! I loved him. Taylor and I have gone to comedy once before at a different club - but it's been a while. My face truly hurt to the point of me giving my cheeks a massage!
After the show we headed to The Brick and finally made it home around 1:00am. It was a fabulous double date night!
