A Fall Weekend

Fall is definitely in the air....and we love it!!! This weekend was full of Fall fun. We snuggled up Friday night and watched a somewhat spooky movie. Saturday we ran some errands and then decided to go pick out pumpkins in the rain!
Taylor was very excited!

I was excited too!
There is a farm right up the road from us who sells pumpkins for super CHEAP! It's hard not to fill the entire truck up! I think I'm going to go back tomorrow and get a few more, but here is a snapshot of our load. You can't see behind me, the 6 grocery bags full of small pumpkins we picked up as well. hehe

We love pumpkins!
While I was washing the small pumpkins in the house, Taylor decided he had better mow the lawn because it was supposed to rain worse on Sunday. After he was done mowing, I asked him if we could get a pic under the new sign he just got for his birthday, from his parents.
The Johnston's
I'll have to post more pics later with all of the decorating I did with the pumpkins, but here's a sneak peek:
Johnston Pumpkins on the mantel

Pumpkins look cute everywhere!
After all of the decorating and cleaning up, we had Taylor's sister and boyfriend over for game night! Chris, Dom's boyfriend, rocked overall. I personally rarely win games, but it's not about winning right? Well....to most Johnston's it's everything, but being a NEW Johnston, it still doesn't matter too much to me. :-)

Sunday, we visited Taylor's parents so he could help his Dad with a project, and so I could see Heidi's Antique Shop. The Country Hideaway is having it's season opening this upcoming weekend. I went to grab a sneak peek! Heidi has so many cute items, I encourage everyone to go check her out this weekend. The address is: 4510 5th Ave NW in Olympia, WA  98502 just off Mud Bay and Delphi Rd. Here are a few pictures:
Woof and Poof dolls!! SO adorable

Check her out this weekend! The Country Hideaway will be open Friday & Saturday(Oct 15th & 16th) from 10:00 to 4:00.

After visiting with Bill and Heidi we came home where Taylor relaxed and I've been working on the blog! I made a yummy roasted chicken and potato dinner. One of the best Fall/Winter meals. I can't wait for Thanksgiving! It's really not too far away!

Yummy Chicken!
