Father-In-Law

On Wednesday of this past week, my Father-in-Law wrote me an email asking me if I was interested in his old iPod Nano. Taylor and I bought him a new one for Father's Day, not knowing that he already had one. He loves music and always has the best music players and sound systems, to ensure he's hearing the best quality. I love this about him: he loves all sorts of music and will truly listen to anything at least once, to see if he likes it or not.

When he sent me the email, I was SO excited. I have an iPhone which has an iPod in it, but it's so big and bulky that it's difficult to wear it while running or other various exercise. I've really wanted an iPod shuffle, but just haven't felt it was necessary to spend the money. A Nano is slightly larger than the Shuffle, but I was still excited.

So after his Grand-daughter's volleyball game, he came over to drop it off. He came in and handed it to me. To my surprise, it was a SHUFFLE!! I was even more excited than I already was!!!

How lucky am I to have such a thoughtful Father-in-Law? Not because of the tangible gifts, but all the love he has for each member of his family. Being married and inheriting more family ROCKS!
