Company Christmas Party

Saturday December 4th: Taylor's Company Christmas Party

Taylor and I arrived late to his company Christmas party because I babysat before hand. It was definitely odd being around all of the people I used to work with. I think the awkwardness was slightly felt on both ends- people would ask if I was working yet and how things were going. Some even went out on a limb and said how they really aren't busy at all, like it would make me feel....better?....not exactly what a laid-off employee wants to hear. I know that everything happens for a reason and though I am thankful for my experiences with BP, I am happy to have moved on. I am thankful Taylor still works for them. He began his apprenticeship with them, completed his apprenticeship with them and hopes to be as successful as his grandfather and father have been with them. I didn't get any others pics that night other than with Trina, but maybe at some point I'll get my hands on some of the other photos if they are worth sharing.
Trina and Me: She won the Ugly Sweater gift with cash inside AGAIN!
After the party, a group of us went out for "wieners" at the hot dog stand up the street. Thanks to Drew for buying us all wieners!!
