We got up, got ready for the day and were greeted by Taylor's parents. They brought over all of our gifts from the wedding, along with a bunch of our stuff they had taken from clean-up. After running a few errands of our own, we came home to find Taylor's best friend Stender and my friend Marla, waiting to see us. We visited with them for awhile before kicking them out so we could get packed and open up our cards!!
CASH!!! Due to the generosity of so many of our guests, we were able to make our honeymoon just that much more memorable with some of the funds we received!
Before heading out, we had to vacuum seal our cake to hopefully preserve it's tastiness for our 1 year anniversary.
We finished packing our bags and headed to Seattle!

We stayed near the Airport, technically in Seatac. Comfort Inn was one of the cheaper places. We paid for a night's stay, but then we were able to keep our vehicle there for 7 days "free". Not to mention they shuttled us to and from the airport. We would have had the free breakfast, but we had to leave too early to catch our flight.

We got unpacked and all situated and realized we hadn't really eaten anything ALL day. A left over party favor chocolate bar with a mimosa was all we had. It was close to if not after 8pm before we finally ate something!
We ate at 13 Coins, a restaurant in Sea-tac. The food was delicious, and the drinks were yummy too! I personally liked the place since 13 is kind of our special number. There was a man playing piano in the lounge, but unfortunately he sang along with his piano playing. We had a great time. I just wanted to shout out to everyone (and did on some occasions) "We're NEWLYWEDS" or "We were just married!!!" After dinner we stopped at a convenient store to pick up some popcorn and headed back to the room. We were both so tired, but so pumped about leaving in the morning. Before starting the movie, we headed down to the jacuzzi and relaxed for a bit. Fortunately there was no one else around, until this big burly man came in and thought he was interrupting something and left. We knew he was just sitting out in the weight room, so we decided to go. When we walked through he was sitting in the weight room reading the Bible! He wasn't interrupting anything other than us enjoying the nice warm jacuzzi.
Our first day as a married couple ROCKED! We had so much fun! Maybe this post doesn't give enough detail, but I'm trying to keep it short. The stress from the wedding was completely gone. We were just excited to be so in love, finally married and on our way to an exciting adventure in Aspen Colorado! Before we went to bed, I pulled out the Honeymoon Dice a friend had given me at a bridal shower (Thanks Kim!) and this was the roll:
Funny huh?! We passed out and woke up a few hours later (literally 3 hours) to meet the shuttle and head to the airport. Honeymoon Day #1: Perfect
